PCF, an award-winning NGO joins the global collaborative campaign in promoting childhood cancer awareness, advocacy and expressing support for children and adolescents with cancer, the survivors and their families.
The Executive Director Patela Care Foundation, Dr Foluke Sarimiye and the PCF team were at the Paediatric Oncology Wards, UCH Ibadan to donate chemotherapy drugs, pharmaceutical items and love gifts, which had been their manner consistently for the past six years.
The Patela Care Foundation team was received by the University College Hospital Management Team: Dr Taiwo Soyinka (DCMAC, Clinical Services) and Dr Micheal Obaro (DCMAC, Research and Ethics); The Head of Paediatrics Department, Dr Adanze Asinobi; Head of Peadiatric Oncology unit and President of Nigerian Society of Peadiatric Oncology, Prof Biobele Brown, represented by Dr Abadan; Deputy Director of Clinical Nursing, Mrs Popoola , also joined by ADNs Oki and Akinyemi and other members of staff of the UCH Pediatric Oncology unit.
