Patela Care Foundation is an award winning not for profit non-governmental organisation established to enrich lives by providing support focused on two main areas:
1a. Promoting Cancer control health education/awareness/ prevention, early detection and advocacy.
1b. Providing psycho social support for for individuals and families impacted by cancer diagnosis.
1c. Promoting Educational Excellence particularly in the spheres of knowledge of cancer control and awareness by engaging educational institutions, policy makers and stakeholders.
2. Providing Psychosocial support and relief materials for Persons of Concern, particularly Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria.

To provide awareness, advocacy, information, education, navigation, screening, educational materials, psychosocial support and other support for individuals and families impacted by Cancer diagnosis.

To provide timely and sustainable solutions, psychosocial support and relief materials to persons of concern, particularly Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

Since inception of Patela Care Foundation, we have been able to achieve these.

Since inception of the foundation, we have funded the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for over 50 patients diagnosed with cancer.

The foundation organizes an annual national competition which is first of it’s kind; The Cancer Advocacy and Awareness Essay Competition (CAANEC).

Patela Care foundation organizes childhood cancer awareness walk themed CACCAW “Confront and Conquer Childhood Cancer Awareness Walk”.

Awarded Rotary Meritorious Service Award for Humanitarian Works

Celebrates Christmas season with the children on Paediatric Oncology wards University College Hospital Ibadan on Christmas Day; themed Patela Care Foundation Children’s Christmas celebration.

Commemorates International Childhood Cancer Day by donations of love gifts, pharmaceutical items and Chemotherapy drugs to children receiving care at the Paediatric Oncology wards University College Hospital Ibadan (UCH) Ibadan.

Commemorates Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by providing non-pharmacological therapeutic interventions such art therapy and music therapy; with refreshments, to children receiving care at the Paediatric Oncology wards, University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan

Commemorates World Cancer Day by providing free cancer screening, cancer advocacy/ awareness walk and lectures.

Started The Cancer Control In Persons of Concern Initiative in collaboration with Nigerian Commission For Migrants, Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) NCFRMI in line with the commission’s Project Total Health.

PatelaCare Foundation collaborates annually in the cancer awareness walk organized by Radiation Oncology Department University College Hospital Ibadan Oyo State.

Letter of Appreciation  given to Patela Care Foundation by University College Hospital ( UCH) Ibadan, Nigeria for generous donations, thereby improving equitable access to health services.

Media Awareness Drives reaching an audience of over one million through media stations (TV and Radio).

Since inception provides psycho-social support, music therapy and refreshments for patients and Family care givers attending Psycho Oncology clinic at the Radiation Oncology Department UCH Ibadan.

Patela Care Foundation”s Renovation of a wing of a housing facility for individuals and family care givers impacted by cancer AKA ALANU House, Ibadan Oyo State

Certificate of Appreciation given to Patela Care Foundation by Union for International Cancer Control(UICC) for participating in World Cancer Day  Awareness, Prevention and Advocacy Global Campaign.

Provides Cancer Awareness/Prevention and Good Character Development Lectures to Senior Secondary School students in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Awarded to the Co-founder, Oncology Doctor of the year 2020/2021 by Project PINK BLUE Nigerian Oncology Awards

In collaboration with Partner NGOs; Successfully executed Breast and Cervical cancer screening for over 2000 women in South West Nigeria.

Provided relief materials for over 5000 Internally Displaced Persons in some North Eastern, North Central and South Western IDPs camps in Nigeria.
