Patela Care Foundation was honoured again to be invited as a vital stakeholder for the commemoration ceremony of World Refugee Day, 20th of June 2024. The event was organized and hosted by the National Commission for Migrants, Refugees and IDPs, South West Zone Lagos (NCFRMI) and United Nations Refugees Agency (UNHCR).

The theme for this year is “Solidarity With Refugees”. The NCFRMI’s vision and mission was reaffirmed by the south west zonal coordinator, Mr Alex Oturu while delivering his speech at the event.

The Executive Director, Patela Care Foundation ( PCF) Dr Foluke Sarimiye reaffirmed PCF’s commitment in providing psychosocial care, relief materials and Cancer Control Health Education (CCHE) to Forcibly Displaced Persons.

Present at the event were distinguished representatives of NCFRMI, UNHCR, IOM, Red Cross, CSOs, NGOs, Stakeholders, Entertainment Industry and the Media.

The occasion was remarkable, entertaining and inspiring, as vital stakeholders pledged #SolidarityWithRefugees.

To receive Patela Care Foundation’s relief materials were NCFRMI South West Zonal Coordinator, Mr Musa Alex Oturu, Mr Julius Olubajo – Protection Office and other members of the team.
